Many of us have been blessed beyond anything we could have expected.  If we have a roof over our head and food to eat we should be praising God daily for these things.  This Thanksgiving Season we would like to encourage you to share these blessings with those in your community that are hurting.  You would be amazed (or maybe you wouldn't) to learn of the many needs that surround you.  FIA (Faith in Action) works hard to meet those needs.  Our church, along with many others, is trying to help fill their shelves so they comtinue this important work.  In the month of November we will be collecting items for FIA.  If you have question you can contact Amanda Johnson here at the church OR FIA directly.  The following is a list of items that the pantry is currently in need of:

-muffin/cake/baking mixes
 -canned or frozen meat
 -pumpkin pie ingredients
 -canned fruit
 -shampoo/conditioner
 -feminine products
 -laundry soap
 -condiments like mustard, mayo, ketchup
 -spaghetti sauce
 -chili beans
 -pancake mix
 -syrup
 -jelly
 -shaving items (razors & cream)
 -cleaning supplies
 -healthy snacks

Thank you everyone that participated in the food drive this year.  Please remember, although it is great to give this time of year, the needs of others are present all year long.  Be generous as God has called us to be.
